An independent index of Abu Dhabi, built department by department, without paid placement dictating what gets covered.
We're building Totally Abu Dhabi as a structured index rather than a stream of blog posts — every page has a clear department, a clear purpose, and is written to be useful on its own rather than padded to hit a word count. Hotels are profiled honestly, without paid placement determining what's included or how it's described.
Travel information dates quickly — prices, opening hours and even attraction names change. Where a detail is likely to change often (exact prices, opening times), we point you to check the current, official source rather than publishing a number that will go stale. We review and update existing pages as part of the weekly publishing cycle, not just add new ones.
The long-term goal is genuinely comprehensive coverage of the emirate — every neighbourhood, every notable hotel, every attraction — available in multiple languages. We're building toward that step by step, in public, adding new pages at least weekly.
This index is built for people actually planning a trip, not for search engines — that's why pages lean on specific, practical detail (which area suits which kind of trip, what a mosque visit actually requires) rather than generic descriptions that could apply to any city. If a page doesn't help you decide or plan something, we consider it a page that needs rewriting.
We only link to brands we actually use and trust:
